Accessibility

This site is built to be usable by everyone

Last updated: February 2026

Audio Images (Henry’s Audio Visual Solutions, Inc.) is committed to making audioimages.tv accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design and maintain this site, not a one-time project.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard referenced by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

What we have done

  • Every page has a single main landmark, uniquely labeled navigation regions, and a “Skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
  • All interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a high-contrast focus indicator that is always visible.
  • Text and interface colors meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required for body text (3:1 for large text), verified by automated testing on every public page.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text; purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology so they do not add noise.
  • Slideshows pause on hover, focus, and keyboard interaction, offer explicit previous, pause, and next controls, announce slide changes politely, and stop animating entirely when a visitor’s system requests reduced motion.
  • Forms use visible labels, plain-language hints and examples, programmatic required-field indicators, and errors that are announced to screen readers and described in text rather than by color alone.
  • Tap targets on phones and tablets meet the 44 × 44 pixel minimum.
  • Page content uses semantic headings in order, so the site can be navigated by heading structure.

Testing

We test with automated tooling (axe-core, run against every public page at WCAG 2.0 A/AA, WCAG 2.1 A/AA, and best-practice rule sets) combined with manual keyboard-only walkthroughs and screen-reader spot checks. Results are recorded and retained. Testing is repeated whenever we publish substantial changes.

Known limitations

Some third-party content we embed — for example video players, mapping services, or analytics widgets — is outside our direct control and may not fully conform. Where that is the case we provide an accessible alternative on request. Older blog posts and archived project write-ups are reviewed on a rolling basis.
